OB/GYN ICD 10-CM and CPT4 Coding

This session will review both new and existing coding processes, rules, and regulations relating to pregnancy, childbirth, and puerperium, as well as diseases, conditions, and disorders of the female reproductive system.
The session will cover high risk coding and “outside of global” issues. In the new patient care models, the requirements to “tell the whole story” with appropriately reporting risk factors through patient co-morbidities is an essential part of relating value with the appropriate level of care for the patient’s condition.
